Middleton Accommodation South Australia

The Shack at Middleton

Accommodation by Middleton Beach

Chill. Curl up with a book by the fire. Spend long summer nights relaxing with friends in the yard. Hear the waves roar. Grab your surf board. Banter by the fire pit. That’s life at the Middleton Shack.
Located little more than 100 metres from one of South Australia’s best surf beaches, the shack, while provided to our guests as an entire property, has two separate sleeping and entertaining/living areas: the Shack and the Bunkhouse. Accommodating up to 12 people (linen provided), this provides you with so many options: enjoy a romantic getaway, bring the kids (but put them in the bunkhouse), bring the grandparents, bring the dog, bring your besties, bring whoever you like!

The Shack

The Shack is everything you think of when you think old school surf getaway. It has two bedrooms, a master bedroom with a Queen bed, sleeping two, and a second bedroom sleeping four with a triple bunk (double on bottom/ single on top) and a single trundle (provide own linen for the trundle). The Shack also has a functional kitchen with electric cooker and microwave, and a beautiful wood burning combustion heater to keep you cosy with a glass of red on winter nights.

The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is a newly renovated space on the same block. It includes a large open plan lounge for entertaining, an outdoor dining area and a bunk room which sleeps up to six: four in two sets of bunk beds and two on the double Koala sofa bed (provide own linen for the sofa bed). The Bunkhouse opens up the unique possibility of having two families, or the grandparents, or the babysitters, or whoever you want, stay in a separate property, but still only metres away from the main shack!

Middleton

Middleton is one of South Australia’s best known and most consistent surf beaches. Waves roll in constantly from the Southern Ocean and there’s a host of pop up surf schools along the coast just waiting to teach you new skills. Middleton itself is coastal village with cafes, shops, a must-visit surf store and an old fashioned Tavern providing great pub food staples.

Middleton Holiday Rental with two great spaces

One holiday rental, two great spaces! The Shack and the Bunkhouse give you masses of space to spread out, bring friends, kick back and enjoy your time away. There’s no product on the Fleurieu Peninsula quite like what we have on offer here. It’s a minute’s walk from one of the best surf beaches in South Australia and importantly it’s got that traditional shack vibe, something that is so hard to find nowadays.

Middleton Beach is like no other in South Australia. It provides a range of different surfing experiences, from challenging waves out the back and around the point, to consistent low waves rolling into the shore which are perfect to learn the ropes on. The beach is only 100 metres from the shack, so bring your own board, hire them from one of the nearby shops, book in for lessons at one of the pop-up surf schools, or just forget surfing altogether and take a long walk along the stunning coastline.
